As a mother of seven children, unfortunately, I lost a son, in July 2022, and as a proud grandmother, I understand the struggles, hopes, and fears of District 8. My candidacy is a testament to my commitment to keeping our schools and communities safe and secure, while also ensuring that our government continues to make progress for all of us."

I am also proud that Lester Miller appointed me to serve on the Regional Commission Council in 2022, where I have learned and been exposed to the actual function of government. I have dedicated over 32 years of social service to our Middle Ga communities, I have worked tirelessly with children, seniors, adults, and families, witnessing firsthand the challenges we face in Macon. Our high poverty and crime rates are not just statistics; they are a call to action—a call I am ready to answer. If elected as your commissioner, my primary focus will be to empower our city through economic development, affordable housing, and public safety. I envision a community in Macon-Bibb where poverty and crime are reduced, and every resident is supported and empowered through cash assistance, and self-wellness programs to foster a thriving community. Moreover, I am committed to working closely with the mayor, fellow commissioners, law enforcement, and you—the heart of Macon—to implement effective gang prevention strategies for our youth and improve the overall social conditions of our neighborhoods. Together, we can build a safer, more prosperous Macon-Bibb. Your support is not just a vote for me but for our shared vision of a better future for all.
